Q. What is the GPTalk mailing list?
A. The GPTALK mailing list is a listserv where you can send and receive email related to Windows Group Policy. You must subscribe to the list to send and receive mail from the list. The purpose of the list is to provide a forum for asking and answering technical questions related to Group Policy. Any question is fair game as long as it is related to Windows Group Policy. The list is un-moderated! So, please don't use the list to send spam, advertisements, job solicitations or any other kind of inappropriate mailings. If you do, you will be removed. If you have a question about whether something is appropriate, email the list owner (me). Keep in mind that when you send a email to the list, it goes to every subscriber of the list.
Q. I was already subscribed to the freelists.org GPTalk list. Do I need to do anything since it moved to gptalk@lists.gpoguy.com?
A. No action is required from you. Your subscription will still continue as normal and you will continue to receive emails from the list. Instead of sending your list messages to gptalk@freelists.org, you should now use gptalk@lists.gpoguy.com instead.
Take care to not continue sending list posts to the original gptalk@freelists.org list! Use gptalk@lists.gpoguy.com instead - even when replying to old posts!
During the migration from freelists, we will auto-create your subscription which means you will receive a unique Username / Password you can use to access the site and subsequently manage your GPTalk subscription.

Q. I forgot my Username and/or Password. How can I retrieve this?
A. Follow this process:
• Click the Login link on the site (or visit http://www.gpoguy.com/logon.aspx).
• Click the Forgot Password link
• Enter either your Username (if you know it) or your Email Address that you use to send to the GPTalk list
• If your information was correct you will receive an email with your username/password
• If you forgot your information or are having a problem on the list then you can contact us directly
Q. Is there a Searchable List Archive where I can find past postings?
A. Yes, you can visit the original archive at http://www.freelists.org/archives/gptalk where past postings are included. There is now the new on-site archives that can be found here http://www.gpoguy.com/GPTalk-Mailing-List.aspx.
Q. I want to subscribe to your site and the GPTalk Mailing List. How can I do this?
A. Click the Register link (or visit page http://www.gpoguy.com/register.aspx) and sign up with us.
